Daily CoViD-19 Update
-- If you think you have been exposed to someone positive for Novel SARS-CoV-2, PLEASE self-quarantine immediately and avoid all contact with others for 14 days. Monitor your health while in quarantine (e.g., check body temperature twice daily, etc.) -- If you develop any signs of viral infection (e.g., a fever, a cough, fatigue) while in quarantine, contact the Department of Health to schedule a FREE test and remain isolated from all others. -- If you do NOT develop signs of illness during your daily health checks, you can cease self-quarantine, but please wear a mask when in close contact with others. Many people do not get sick from this virus but can still give it to others who might get very ill or die. -- If you don't think you were exposed to anyone infected, but you have symptoms of illness and want to be tested to see if the Novel SARS-CoV-2 pathogen is the cause, you can have a specimen collected for diagnostic testing (i.e. molecular PCR or Antigen) at several places in Nassau County.
