...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT FRIDAY...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Southeast Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, including
the following areas, in Southeast Indiana, Ohio and
Switzerland. In Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll,
Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and
Robertson. In Ohio, Adams, Brown, Clermont, Pike, and Scioto.
* Until 8 AM EDT Friday
* Rainfall will continue overnight as it slowly becomes more
scattered. There is still potential for a few bands of localized
heavy rain to develop overnight in an extremely moist airmass
near a frontal boundary draped across northern Kentucky. While
the threat for flash flooding is not as high as it was earlier
today, it cannot be ruled out for portions of the area
overnight.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
