The August 4 City Council meeting is canceled, along with the Traffic and Parking Commission and Community Services Commission meetings scheduled for the same week.

The Planning Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6. The Commission will hear a proposal for a car wash in Heritage Hill Plaza on Lake Forest Dr. Staff recommends denial of the project. 

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Commission will meet without a live audience. Members of the public who want to comment on the project can submit e-comments to [email protected]  or a voicemail message by calling (949) 461-3456.

E-comments will not be read at the meeting.  If leaving a voicemail message, please indicate if it is a general public comment (must be in the subject matter jurisdiction or official business of the City of Lake Forest) or on an agenda item and indicate the number.

Voicemail messages will be played at the meeting and will be limited to three minutes, per item. To ensure staff reviews all comments prior to the Planning Commission meeting, please submit email or voicemail comments by 5 p.m. the day of the meeting. Comments received after that time will be uploaded to the agenda packet and made part of the official public record of the meeting.
