Hello and Good Evening. This is West Caldwell Councilman and Public Safety Chairman Michael Docteroff. I would like to inform you that the Township is preparing for the Tropical Storm. Our Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Department of Public Works, are on call and ready to assist if need be.

We ask you to make sure that your devices are charged and you have flashlights ready in case of a power outage. Please secure any items in your yard that may be affected by the high winds predicted from the storm.

In case of an extended power outage, the Township will be opening the public meeting room at 30 Clinton Road which will be used as an emergency charging and cooling center, social distancing and the wearing of masks will be in effect.
