On Monday, July 3, 2020, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Community Partnerships Bureau served a search warrant on a multi acre property located in the unincorporated area of Chatsworth, just north of 118 Freeway.

In conjunction with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control, the search warrant operation was part of an investigation related to animal cruelty and possession of game fowl for fighting purposes violations.

All animals will be inspected and documented by Animal Care and Control officers.
