THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM THE MATAWAN POLICE DEPARTMENT & THE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

As a result of Tropical Storm Isaias, there are numerous downed trees and power lines throughout the Borough.  If you are experiencing a power outage, call JCP&L and notify them directly a 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877).

Stay clear of downed utility lines.  Avoid any unnecessary travel as many roads are fully or partially closed.
