Tropical Storm Update 
Tropical Storm Isaias Update:
The Township of Ocean has experienced many issues as a result of the tropical storm that came through the area today. Please use caution while driving through the township; there are numerous trees, branches, utility poles and wires down throughout the area.
In addition, there are widespread power outages that are affecting traffic lights and the street lights as we approach dusk and the overnight hours which will limit visibility.
Police, Fire and EMS are handling emergencies and the Department of Public Works is clearing the roadways.

Unfortunately, the police department does not have a timeline as to when power will be restored to the area.
