Fair Haven Storm Update
 
Dear Fair Haven Residents: A brief storm update, as follows:

• As of 1:00 PM, JCP&L is still showing 93% of Fair Haven without power.
   
• JCP&L is in town working to restore and repair damaged equipment, but current estimates indicate that repairs may take several days. The damage in some areas is significant, but they will be working in our community to complete restoration of service. The below link shows the repair process and system basics for recovery efforts

• Please Do Not call 9-1-1 for inquiries about power restoration. Please dial 9-1-1 for emergency assistance only.
   
• Please be sure to report your individual outage directly to JCP&L. You can do so over the phone, 1(800) 662-3115, via text - type ‘REG’ to 544487 (LIGHTS), or through their website, https://www.firstenergycorp.com/jersey_central_power_light.html
   
• Fair Haven Public Works crews have been actively removing trees, branches, and debris where it is safe to do so.
   
• The Fair Haven Police Department continues to handle traffic management and is working non-stop to maintain the safety and security of our town.
   
• The trash pickup schedule has not been modified due to this storm. All collections will take place as scheduled, provided your area is safe to access due to current conditions.
   
• Please stay away from downed wires. Assume all wires are live and do not approach. Report all down wires to police dispatch at 732-747-0991.
   
• Please do not drive around cones. We have some areas blocked off due to threat of fallen trees or other hazards that may not be obvious. For your safety, please avoid these areas.
   
• If you are not already signed up for the Borough call out / email notification system, please do so by calling Borough Hall 732-747-0241 x *219 or by visiting our Borough website www.fairhavennj.org and type ‘Constant Contact’ in the search bar.
   
• We will continue to provide updates as we receive them. We understand the challenges this situation presents and will continue to work on your behalf to help restore full services.
