Tropical Storm Isaias update from the Village of Pelham:

Tropical Storm Isaias produced high winds and heavy rain fall in Pelham resulting in debris and fallen trees all over the community.  Crews continue to work tirelessly to resolve issues and restore power to communities all over the county.  This will not be an overnight-fix, so please, have some pateience as this was a very destructive storm!

Residents are asked to bring debris to the curb for pickup.  The Village's Department of Public Works is working south to north and picking up fallen trees and more.

Several traffic signals in the village are currently on a four way flash or inoperable and should be treated like a four way stop intersection.

Treat all downed wires as energized and remember that electric current can travel for miles and energize surrounding fixed objects.
