Residents, Due to the tree damage caused by Tropical Storm Isaias, the Plumsted Leaf and Branch Recycle Facility, located at Excavating Materials and Equipment Inc. (EME, 849 County Route 539), have extended their operating hours. The site will be open for drop-off of branches and leaves the following days: Saturday, August 8th 9 am to 5 pm Monday, August 10 - Friday, August 14th from 1 pm to 5 pm Saturday, August 15th 9 am to 5 pm The site will be staffed by Township employees, proof of residency will be required to drop off branches and leaves. This schedule is subject to change if it is determined that residents no longer have need for the extended hours. Residents will be notified if operating hours are again modified. The hours of the electronic, white goods and metals recycling at the Recycling Center at 2 Cedar Street, behind the Police Station, will remain the same as Saturday 8 am to noon and Wednesday 1 pm to 5 pm. The Township Committee wishes to recognize the management of EME, Inc. for allowing us to extend our operating hours and offer this connivence to the residents.
