ATTENTION: Nazareth Borough Residents. Report your property damage to the local emergency management coordinator from Tropical Cyclone/Storm Isaias.

Tropical Cyclone/Storm Isaias brought with it large amounts of rain across Nazareth Borough and the surrounding areas.

As the flood waters recede, we ask that all residents and businesses within the borough inspect their homes / facilities for any damages due to wind, rain or flooding. These documented damages can go a long way with helping to obtain potential disaster declaration monies to help repair / rebuild your damaged home or business.
 If Nazareth Borough is included in a state/federal disaster declaration, then funding may be available from the state or federal government to offset these damages.

 If you have exterior or interior damage to your home, business or property due to impact(s) of Tropical Cyclone/Storm Isaias, please notify Nazareth Borough local emergency management coordinator immediately so we can begin documenting these damages. All municipalities have a designated Local Emergency Management Coordinator

(EMC) who should be made aware of these damages, for documenting and reporting purposes. Nazareth Boroughs Local EMC is Mark Morella and he can be reached at 484-357-9929 or [email protected]. PLEASE REPORT DAMAGES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TODAY.
 Some required information to have ready when you contact your municipality or report damages is:
 

• Homeowners name and a good contact phone number/email .
• Address of your residence/business . If you received water in your home/business, how high did the water get?
• Were electrical outlets affected? Were furnaces / AC units under water? Other damages?
• Are you still in your home/business?
• Do you have insurance that may cover flood damage such as National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)-backed flood insurance?

 REMEMBER: Please do not enter into any floodwaters or unsettled areas to inspect your property, home or business.
