Storm Recovery

Storm Isaias Update
We are making restoration progress in Ossining Village and Town.

Thankfully our nursing homes all have power. The Ossining Police Department and Public Works are working with ConEd to address our remaining outages.

Tree and wire issues are being addressed throughout the weekend, and the Pump Station on Hawkes Avenue, which has caused outages for the area and the neighboring condo complexes, is a top priority. Crews are working on Underhill and Campwoods as well.

We also have pockets of outages throughout the Village and Town and are working very hard to ensure our residents have their power restored as soon as possible.

Ossining was well represented on today’s daily call with ConEd by OPD Lt. Dan Slater, Mayor Victoria Gearity, Supervisor Dana Levenberg, Village Manager Karen D’Attore, and Assemblywoman Sandy Galef. The issues we are dealing with were voiced, and we will continue to advocate for our residents.

We have also been in contact with Altice/Optimum. They have reported that cable issues affecting our community have been addressed and that they are working on restoring internet services. We are also working with the County to make sure our communications services are prioritized as well.

If you are without power, you can contact ConEd at 1-800-75CONED.

ConEd has informed us that anyone who has been without power for 48 hours or longer can apply for reimbursement for costs associated with spoiled food and medication. For more information and to file a claim visit https://www.coned.com/en/services-and-outages/claim-form
