Sheriff Richard J Behnke of the Cass County Sheriff's Office reports that his Deputies responded to a personal injury crash on Marcellus Hwy near Finch Rd on 08/08/2020 at approximately 2113 hours. The crash occurred in Marcellus Township, Cass County, Michigan.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene after 21 year old Three Rivers resident, Christopher Hoeppner, pulled out of a driveway onto Marcellus Hwy in front of a motorcyclist traveling west bound on Marcellus Hwy. The 25 year old Dowagiac resident, Olivia Hines, and 28 year old Marcellus resident, Jordan Hawkins, were traveling west bound when they collided into Hoeppner's pickup truck ejecting them from the motorcycle.

Hawkins and Hines were transported by ambulance and Aircare to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment. Seatbelt was worn and Alcohol was not a factor in this crash. Helmets were not worn. This case remains under investigation at this time.
