During a traffic stop Deputies arrest Lawrence Grant for possession of a loaded firearm

LOCATION: N. Waterman Avenue / E. 13th Street, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Lawrence Grant, 26-year-old male, Rialto, CA
SUMMARY: On Friday, August 7, 2020, Deputies K. Lunde and E. Hernandez from Central Station conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a California vehicle code violation.
The driver, Lawrence Grant, had a suspended drivers license and an active domestic violence restraining order against him. During a vehicle search, deputies located a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the center console. The handgun was registered to Grant.
Grant was arrested for PC 25850 (C)(4), Possession of Loaded Firearm on Person or Vehicle and was booked at Central Detention Center. He will be held on $25,000.00 bail.
