The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southwestern Wayne County in south central Illinois... Hamilton County in south central Illinois...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 730 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles north of Mount Vernon to 6 miles northeast of Rend Lake Area to near Valier, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Fairfield, Mcleansboro, Wayne City, Dahlgren, Sims, Keenes, Macedonia and Belle Prairie City. This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 91 and 108.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WAYNE, IL ... HAMILTON, IL
