Special Storm Damage Pickup 
Special Storm Damage Pick-Up: Wednesday, August 12, 2020
Late afternoon on Monday, August 10, 2020, the City of McHenry was impacted by a major storm event that met the City’s criteria for a special Storm Damage Pick-Up. The following criteria was met: Sustained wind speeds of 40mph or greater and wind gust speeds of 58mph or greater.
Due to these weather conditions, the City will complete a storm damage pick-up on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Please place brush on the parkway parallel to the street no later than 7:00AM on August 12th. Branches should be as long as possible and no more than 5 inches in diameter. No stumps or roots will be taken.
Crews will visit each street once and continue until they have gone through the entire City. No callbacks will be made. All storm damage must be to the curb by 7:00AM on August 12, 2020.
