Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. expanded their claims process to cover spoiled food, medication, or perishable commercial merchandise for customers that lost power for more than 48 consecutive hours due to Tropical Storm Isaias. Residential customers may receive reimbursement for up to $235, or up to $540 with receipts. Business owners are eligible for food spoilage reimbursements up to $10,700 with receipts. If you are an Orange and Rockland Utility customer, don't hesitate, file a claim. Orange and Rockland Electric supplies power to the following Bergen County municipalities: Allendale, Alpine, Closter, Cresskill, Demarest, Franklin Lakes, Harrington Park, Mahwah, Haworth Montvale, Northvale, Norwood, Oakland, Old Tappan, Ramsey, Ringwood, Rivervale, Rockleigh, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, and Wyckoff.
