DETAILS:  Det. J. Jones and Det. W. Jones observed two individuals open a gate and drive onto a vacant property off of Clarksville Rd. formerly known as the Howard Hughes Corporation site/tract. A sign on the gate read, “No Trespassing, Violators Will Be Prosecuted”.  Det. J. Jones followed the vehicle and initiated a stop on the silver Porsche SUV. During the stop, Tanuj Sridhar was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing raw marijuana and a marijuana cigarette. Also in Sridhar’s possession was a glass pipe with marijuana residue. Sridhar was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Erkoboni initiated a stop on a silver Jeep SUV for an inoperable brake light. During the stop, one of the occupants, Steven McGuire, was found to be in possession of two hypodermic needles and various drug paraphernalia including empty/used wax paper folds. McGuire was found to be a “Wanted Person” out of Bucks County, PA and had multiple warrants for his arrest from Trenton. Another vehicle occupant, Ryan Alessandrini, was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle, and had multiple warrants for his arrest from Trenton. After processing, McGuire was transported to the Mercer County Correction Center. Alessandrini was released pending future Court dates in West Windsor and Trenton.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to the Wegmans market for a shoplifting in progress. When Ptl. LaForge arrived on scene, Wegmans Asset Protection already had the suspects detained in the parking lot. Investigation determined that Miriam Vargas and Stefany Madera had both placed items into the shopping cart they were sharing. While in one of the aisles, they both concealed food and merchandise into their purses and reusable Wegmans shopping bags. They then exited the store without paying for the $551.25 worth of goods. Vargas and Madera were processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future dates in Mercer County Superior Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Buchanan investigated a suspicious vehicle that was in the parking lot of the Conover Fields after midnight. During the investigation, A S was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana contained inside a zip-loc bag. Sridhar was released from the scene, and a complaint was mailed to him charging him with the marijuana possession.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to Wegmans for a shoplifting. Prior to patrol arrival, two female suspects left in a black Chevrolet sedan. Ptl. Hoffman located the vehicle on U.S. Route 1 and initiated a stop on the vehicle. Investigation determined that both Angelique Combs and Karrington Johnson selected numerous Dove brand bath and body care products and concealed them into their purses and put them into their carts. They then walked out of the market pushing their carts without paying for anything. Asset Protection confronted them in the parking lot where they abandoned the stolen goods in the shopping carts, but took their purses filled with merchandise with them as they drove away. Combs and Johnson were processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future dates in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore was detailed to a theft of a purse from a disabled vehicle. Investigation determined the following; While the victim was in the Woo-Ri Mart with her teenage daughter, someone let the air out of one of her tires. Shortly after leaving the Woo-Ri Mart, she realized she had a flat tire. She pulled over and went to a nearby gas station for help, leaving her daughter in the car. Two medium-skin toned males approached the car, and told the victim’s daughter they could help fix the tire. She left the car to tell her mother, and while she was away, they stole the victim’s purse that was left in the car, ran away, and got into a gray BMW sedan that was waiting nearby.

                Resident of Philadelphia, PA 19135
 
DETAILS:  Ptl. Pollini was detailed to investigate an erratically driven vehicle traveling on U.S. Route 1 south. The white minivan was reportedly swerving and stopping in the roadway and almost struck the center barrier several times. The minivan pulled into the Lukoil gas station directly from the left lane of travel and that is where Ptl. Pollini found it. Despite the fact that there was no rain, the wipers were activated on the minivan. The driver, Orin Wadlington, was disoriented and claimed he had children in the minivan even though it was obvious he did not. Wadlington was determined to be DWI and processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was also found to be a “Wanted Person” out of Bucks County, PA. After processing, Wadlington was transported to the Mercer County Correction Center.

                Resident of Lindenhurst, NY 11757
 
DETAILS:  While traveling in the center lane of U.S. Route 1 south, a silver Chevrolet in the right lane passed Ptl. Buchanan’s patrol vehicle at a high rate of speed. Ptl. Buchanan followed the vehicle and observed it speeding, failing to stay in its lane of travel, brake suddenly, make unsafe lane changes, and crash into a road sign after driving off the roadway. When Ptl. Buchanan attempted to stop the vehicle it accelerated and made a couple of improper turns. The driver, Melissa DiBattista, had to stop for traffic at a red light, and Ptl. Buchanan had to exit his vehicle and order her to turn her vehicle off and eventually she complied. DiBattista was determined to be DWI, she was processed at WWPD Headquarters, and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.
