The Village of Lakemoor was impacted by a major storm event on Monday, August 10, 2020.

The Village was fortunate by not having significant damage but we all have some cleaning up to do.

Mayor Todd Weihofen has called for a Storm Damage Clean Up Day for August 17, 2020. The Public Works Department will assist residents in these cleanup efforts by picking up brush and branches at the curbside.
 

Items Not Accepted

• Thorny Material (rosebushes, thorny branches)

• Stumps and Root balls/Root systems

• Evergreen Trimmings

• Lumber

• Railroad Ties

• Firewood

• Any items that contain metal. (nails, eyebolts, etc.)

• Landscape materials (grasses, flowers, leaves etc.)

The accumulated brush will be ground into wood chips and placed in a pile Public Works Building 333 Wegner FREE OF CHARGE.

Please place brush on the parkway parallel to the street no later than 7:00AM on August 17, 2020. Crews will visit each street once and continue until they have gone through the entire Village. No callbacks will be made.
