Luis Valenzuela of Muscoy was arrested for theft of a horse

SUSPECT: Luis Valenzuela, 28-year-old male, resident of Muscoy
SUMMARY:
On Monday, August 10, 2020, Deputies T. Underhill and J. Ayers from the Sheriff's Central Station responded to a theft of a horse report. The reporting party told dispatch a horse was stolen from his residence and a witness followed the suspect, later identified as Luis Valenzuela, to the area of Kent Avenue and Kerry Street in Muscoy. Valenzuela was in possession of the stolen horse and was detained, and the stolen horse was returned to the owner. The victim desired prosecution against Valenzuela.
Valenzuela sustained severe injuries to his face during the theft, possibly from the horse. He was transported to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. Due to his injuries, this case will be submitted to the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office for case filing and review.
