Today Warren County is reporting a total of 1,343 cases of Covid-19 in Warren County; 1,043 of those have recovered and there have been 158 deaths.  Knowlton remains at 12 cases with 11 recoveries. The County has had an average of 2.1 cases per day in the last week and has a current positivity rate of 1%, down from a peak of 47% during the height of the outbreak.  See the charts below for more information.

From the State: 

• The state has announced the creation of a Small Landlord Emergency Grant program, which provides emergency grants to small property owners for Covid-related decreases in rent revenue for a four-month period between April and July 2020.  It is funded through the federal CARES Act and is generated based on the total amount of missed payments and the number of Covid-impacted units that serve low- and moderate-income tenants. Landlords who receive assistance are required to pass along benefits to their tenants by forgiving back rent and late fees.  Applications will be accepted only August 19 through August 26.   For more information or to apply, go to:  www.njhousing.gov/rentals/sleg
