August 3rd
Other Burglary
7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/03/2020 @ 0546. An unknown suspect used force on the rear door to gain entry and removed $2K in cash and damaged two cash registers. #03595

Other Burglary
600 block N Robertson Blvd
08/03/2020 @ 0600. A man entered the rear patio and attempted to pull the door open but was unsuccessful. No loss. #03598

Attempt Car Jacking (Suspect Arrested)
8400 block Sunset Blvd
08/03/2020 @ 1335. A man was driving his vehicle from the parking lot when the suspect reached into the vehicle and took a bottle of water from the front seat. The victim got out of the vehicle and confronted the suspect. A struggle ensued and the suspect tried to take the victims vehicle keys from his possession. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #03599

August 4th
Aggravated Assault - Hands, Fist, Feet
9000 block Santa Monica Blvd
08/04/2020 @ 0830. A man punched a co-worker one time in the face during an argument at work. The victim suffered a cut to his lip that required stitches. #03613

08/06/2020 @ 0300. An unknown suspect pried off the front patio door jamb in an attempt to gain entry but was unsuccessful. #03640

August 7th

1200 block N Kings Road
08/07/2020 @ 0011. A man pried the lobby door open to gain access and then went to the sub parking garage of the apartment complex. The suspect attempted to pry a vehicle door open but was unsuccessful. #03661

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)
1200 block Ogden Drive
08/07/2020 @ 1206-1251. A man used a hammer to pry the kitchen door open and gain access to the residence. Once inside, the suspect was confronted by a resident and escorted out. The suspect returned to the location the next day and was arrested by responding deputies. #03667

August 8th
Vehicle Burglary
1400 block Havenhurst Drive
08/08/2020 @ 0600. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed an air compressor from the rear floorboard. The suspect also removed a camera and GPS device from the dashboard. #03686

August 9th
Armed Robbery
1000 block Westmount Drive
08/09/2020 @ 0740. A man removed clothing and one pair of shoes from the trunk of an unlocked vehicle. The suspect tried to leave the hotel while wearing the clothing and was seen by the victim. A struggle ensued and the victim was shoved to the ground and hit with a wrench. The suspect fled the area on foot. #03689
