Water service has been restored to all customers in the Silverado Country Club area following the water main leak that started late afternoon yesterday. The City’s water system is back in normal operation. Affected customers may see some discoloration in their water and should run their faucets until the water runs clear.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
There is a water main leak on the main transmission line on Atlas Peak Road near Monticello Road that feeds the entire Silverado Country Club. Crews are on scene. There is no ETA for repairs yet. There is a single tank with 2 million gallons of water for the entire Country Club area. Customers are asked to only use water for indoor essential needs, turn off all outdoor irrigation, and conserve water as much as possible until the leak is repaired. Some customers may lose water service. Updates will be provided as we learn more.
