Cross Ridge Road Investigation 
On August 11, 2020, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the New Castle Police responded to a report of a noose painted in the roadway on Cross Ridge Road.
Our investigation has determined the blue line was intentionally painted on Cross Ridge Road on August 8, 2020, at about midnight. The suspect was described as a white male, in his late thirties to early forties, with straight brown hair, chubby, and wearing a polo shirt and shorts.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
