The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Washtenaw County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 242 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Dexter to near Chelsea to 6 miles northeast of Grass Lake, moving northwest at 5 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Washtenaw County, including the following locations... Hudson Mills, Lyndon Township and Hudson Mills Metropark.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WASHTENAW, MI

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
