Due to high temperatures, low humidity and the chance of lightning strikes tonight and tomorrow, a Red Flag Fire Warning has been declared for the Bay Area due to the danger of fires being started and rapidly spreading.  This is the highest fire alert.  It is important for all of us to take steps to prevent wildfires, Please report any fire activity immediately by calling 9-1-1.  

Additionally, please ensure that you are taking precautions in the high heat that is expected for the next few days.  Stay properly hydrated, use sunscreen, take breaks from the sun and be aware of heat exhaustion and other heat-related issues and ensure they are treated immediately. Don't forget about your pets as they can also suffer from heat-related issues.
