We have received reports that residents have received calls from individuals claiming to be from ComEd and demanding payment to prevent their power being shut off within 30 minutes.

ComEd will never call and demand payment to avoid an immediate shut off. If at any time you are uncomfortable, or you feel you are experiencing suspicious behavior, call 1-800-EDISON-1 (1-800-334-7661) or the Lockport Police Department non-emergency line (815-838-2131).
