Deputy Rule arrested Anthony Rodriguez during a traffic stop for possession of controlled substance for sales

INCIDENT: H.S. 11378, Possession of Controlled Substance for Sales
LOCATION: N. Victoria Avenue / E. 28th Street, San Bernardino
SUSPECT: Anthony Rodriguez, 28-years-old, resident of San Dimas
SUMMARY:
On Friday, August 10, 2020, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Deputy Rule conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation and contacted the driver who was identified as Anthony Rodriguez. It was determined Rodriguez had an active no bail warrant for H.S. 11378, Possession of Controlled Substance for Sales. During a pat-down search of Rodriguez, Rule located eight individually packaged baggies, each containing suspected methamphetamine (each baggy weighed 3.7 grams) and numerous denominations of cash ranging from $5 to $100-dollar bills. During a search of Rodriguez' vehicle, Rule located two (2) baggies of suspected methamphetamine next to the center console, one weighing approximately 20 grams and the other weighing 8 grams.
Rodriguez was arrested for Possession for Sales and booked at Central Detention Center. He is being held on $75,000 bail.
