Please remember that jet ski use has (watercraft) restrictions covered by city ordinance.
First, Sec. 74-60, restricts jet skis from resting or being launched from the beach front. Second, safely operating jet skis along the shoreline require being 1700 feet from the shore unless operating under 4 miles per hour. Finally, launching of jet skis within the City of Sheboygan in order to operate along the aforementioned guidelines requires utilization of an approved city boat launch and following rules and regulations associated with the boat launch area.
