Your San Benito County Sheriff's Office, Office of Emergency Services and Hollister Fire Department are actively engaged at the the Base Camp for the #SCULightningComplex Fire at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA.

We are involved in future planning in case the fires begin to affect our county.  As of this time, there is no imminent threat to our county residents.  

Please go to https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/ for the most accurate and up to date information.  We will be pushing out official messaging from CalFire's PIO. We want our community to see unified messaging from the experts on the front lines.  

We are developing plans and strategies with our state partners to keep you all safe.  You will have ample warning from us, and CalFire if evacuations become necessary.  "Evacuation Warnings" are a "heads up" that evacuations MAY be coming. So far there are NO WARNINGS in our county.
