The City of Cloverdale continues to monitor the progress of the Walbridge and Meyers fire that are actively burning along the northwest portion of the county.  Residents will experience smoke in the City however, as of this morning there are no current fires within the City of Cloverdale and no immediate threat to the community. 

Recent weather reports indicate dry lightning and thunder predicted for the late afternoon today and into tomorrow so the next 24-48 hours will be critical.  

City staff continues to monitor the situation in an effort to keep our community safe and to support our neighbors and we recognize the importance of being prepared and encourage each of you to take necessary steps to better prepare yourself and family for emergencies. As part of our efforts, we will continue to provide important information and encourage you to access our Cloverdale CA page and Cloverdale Police Department Facebook page and follow the steps below to better prepare yourself.
