MOC FIRE 8PM Update 8/24/2020
All Mandatory Evacuation Orders will be lifted Tuesday August 25, at 8AM
Beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 8AM residence will be able to return home, all Mandatory Evacuations Orders in Mariposa County will be lifted and downgraded to Fire Advisement’s. All additional Fire Advisement areas remain in effect.
The following roads will remain closed to the general public, however; they will be open to residents with identification.
• Highway 49 from 120 to Black Creek
• Priest Coulterville Road, from Highway 120 to J132/Greeley Hill Road
SAFETY MESSAGE: The public is reminded to stay vigilant on current fire conditions. The MOC Fire is still an active incident. Please continue to adhere to road closures and safety advisories. If you see electrical wires on the ground, stay clear and contact PG&E immediately. Please drive slowly and yield to all emergency and safety personnel who will continue to be working in the area for the duration of the incident.
