MOC Fire Spoiled Food

MOC Fire-
Food that has been warmed and re-cooled in a refrigerator is no longer safe to eat. When in doubt throw it out. Due to the extended power outage due to the Moccasin Fire, Public Works is announcing a FREE Spoiled Food and Bagged Garbage ONLY Drop Off Event for this Thursday, August 27, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event will be held at the Coulterville Transfer Station which is located on Mary Harrison Mine Road near the intersection of Highway 49 North. 

This is for those affected by the MOC Fire Mandatory Evacuations and or Power Outages due to the MOC Fire. 

Any questions can be referred to the Public Works Department at 966-5356.

Did you lose food due to the power outage and do you receive CalFresh benefits?
If so, you may be eligible to replacement CalFresh benefits.

Mariposa County Health and Human Services Reps will be at the Coulterville Transfer Station Thursday August 27th from 9am -3pm
