Two Township Roads to be resurfaced, September 2nd to 9th, 2020 (Garvers Ferry, Alter to SR 356, & School Road by North Primary) 
Good Afternoon Allegheny Township!!! Two township roads are going to be reworked/resurfaced and will be looking/riding a lot better in the near future...
Garvers Ferry Road (White Cloud to SR 356) is scheduled for paving on or about September 2, 3, and 4. The "lower" portion of the work (Alter to White Cloud) will happen first. The "upper" portion (White Cloud to SR 0356) will happen after the lower section is completed.
School Road (between the 56 Bypass and Hyde Park Rd) is tentatively scheduled for paving on or about September 8 and 9.
The hours of work will vary based on the weather, but are anticipated to be generally 7am to 3pm-ish. These may fluctuate in order to get the jobs done on time. The less the vendors/crews are interrupted, the quicker the work will be done. Temporary intermittent closures will be necessary every day!!!
