On Thursday, August 27, 2020, at approximately 9:30 a.m., deputies from the Wasco Substation were sent to the area of Mc Combs Road near Magnolia Avenue for a possible location of reported missing person Melvin Rogers. Within 15 minutes of arrival, deputies located Rogers in a pistachio orchard. Rogers was in good health and evaluated by medical personnel on scene. Rogers was released to family members.
