* At 449 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported water over roadways in Mauston. In addition, water is coming up under the door at the Sheriff's Office in Mauston. Between 3.5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mauston, New Lisbon, Elroy, Wonewoc, Lemonweir, Lindina, Camp Douglas, Lyndon Station, Castle Rock, Union Center, Hustler, The Town Of Quincy, Castle Rock Dam, I 90 94 Exit 78, Yukon Trails Campground, I 90 94 Exit 69, White Creek, Bass Hollow Rec Area, Highways 82 And 13 and Bass Lake Campground. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
