Good evening Westchester residents,
We are now in the final stretch of the 2020 Census. As of today 82.4% of Westchester has completed the Census. 10 year ago 84% responded and we lost close to 38 million dollars of funding for infrastructure, education, healthcare, social services, and businesses. This year is even more important because we may lose the 7th Congressional District seat that represents part of Westchester if numbers do not improve. Please visit 2020CENSUS.GOV if you have not already done so.
If you do not answer a census worker most likely has knocked on your door for you or to be a proxy for your neighbors who have not responded. They will ask no personal questions just number of people in household.
