Last observed driving a 2020 Dodge Ram Pickup, white in color with a California license plate of; 55367Y2
On August 30, 2020 the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an 11 year old runaway juvenile from the 1000 block of Blagen Rd. Arnold, CA. During the investigation deputies learned that 11 year old, Selene, went to a friend’s house for an overnight visit. At about 10:00PM suspect Rebecca Lynne Boyett arrived at the residence stating she wanted to take 11 year old Selene with her. This was in violation of a court order stating Boyett was to only have supervised visits with the Selene. The homeowners told Boyett to leave as she was prohibited from contacting the juvenile without supervision. Boyett complied with their request and left the area without further incident. It is believed that sometime between midnight and 10:00AM Boyett returned to the residence and covertly took Selene from the residence.
Deputies have been checking areas where Boyett is known to frequent, contacted her friends and family, coordinated with local jurisdictions regarding the investigation and contacted the Calaveras County Detective Division to continue the investigation.
