Thefts from vehicles. 
The Cayuga Heights Police Department is investigating a number of thefts from unsecured vehicles. The thefts appear to have occurred in the overnight hours between Sept 1st and 2nd, concentrated to the area of Hanshaw Rd and west to the lower sections of the village.
If you have had items taken from your vehicle, please contact CHPD at 257-1011. If you have video security devices that may have captured images during this time period or any other information related to these events, we encourage you to contact CHPD as well.
As a reminder, the Cayuga Heights Police strongly encourage everyone to lock their vehicles and homes to help prevent these occurrences.
