Effective 9/2/2020 at 7PM the Marin County Sheriffs Office in collaboration with the Woodward Fire Incident Command are lifting the evacuation warnings for the following communities:
- Olema
- Inverness
- Drakes View
- Sea Haven
More specifically, Drakes View Dr on Sir Francis Drake north. The areas north of Five Brooks and Highway 1 to Lagunitas Creek to the east and west side of Highway 1. This includes the area to the east up to Olema Hill.
Other evacuation Warnings and Orders around the fire remain in affect (Silverhills – Order, Inverness Park – Warning, NPS Park Headquarters at Bear Valley - Warning. Residents are encouraged to remain aware, ensure they are registered for
www.alertmarin.org as this fire and the associated weather may require changes to areas covered by evacuation orders or warnings.
