On Wednesday September 02, 2020 at approximately 9:05 a.m. Harper Woods Public Safety Officers responded to the 19900 block of Fleetwood to investigate a home invasion in progress. Upon arrival, officers determined two suspects broke into an occupied dwelling then fled on foot. Suspect descriptions were obtained from the home owners surveillance system. Officers began searching the surrounding area and located the suspects. The suspects fled on foot but were both apprehended by Harper Woods Public Safety Officers after brief foot chases.
Both suspects were male juveniles who reside in the City of Detroit. Both suspects were placed in the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility facing charges of home invasion 1st degree and resisting arrest.
