Heat Advisory This Weekend 
Weather forecasters are predicting an extreme heat advisory with very hot temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. Some reminders to help keep you safe:
* Never leave a child or pet in a vehicle;
* Fire danger is imminent - please use caution if you must use outdoor equipment such as gardening equipment
* Avoid exercising in the heat of the day
* Drink plenty of water
* Chula Vista Recreation Department will be staffing the Cool Zone at 565 Broadway (former Sears building) all weekend from 12 to 5 p.m. Movies will be shown and visitors must wear a mask. Water is allowed but no food or pets.
Reminder that no gatherings are allowed. Following Memorial Day weekend and the Fourth of July, there was an increase in COVID-19 cases. Please do your part to stop the spread.
