* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 1045 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms earlier this morning. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Sugar Creek, Lake Lotawana, Lone Jack, Lake Tapawingo, Tarsney Lakes and Pittsville.
