The National Weather Service has upgraded the fire weather watch to a red flag warning for Santa Barbara County mountains and the south coast due to forecast evening sundowner winds, low humidity, and very high temperatures.  This red flag warning is effective Saturday evening (tonight - 9/5) and is expected to last through at least Monday night (9/7). Avoid hazardous activities that may cause sparks or start a wildfire.

El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional ha actualizado la Alerta Meteorológica por Riesgo de Incendios a una Advertencia de Bandera Roja para las montañas y la costa sur del condado de Santa Bárbara debido al pronóstico de vientos fuertes al atardecer, baja humedad y temperaturas muy altas. Esta Advertencia de Bandera Roja estará en efecto el sábado por la noche (esta noche, 5 de septiembre) y se espera que dure hasta el lunes por la noche (7 de septiembre). Evite actividades peligrosas que puedan provocar chispas o iniciar un incendio forestal.
