* At 1139 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing across Cuyahoga county, with multiple water rescues reported. Major flooding is occurring along Big Creek, with the latest reported river stage of 13.64 feet at 1115 AM. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cleveland, Lorain, Elyria, Willowick, Vermilion, Western Vermilion, Parma, Lakewood, Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Brunswick, Westlake, North Royalton, North Ridgeville, Solon, Avon Lake, Hudson, Twinsburg and Streetsboro.
