The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a

* Flood Advisory for... Grant County in central Indiana... Blackford County in east central Indiana... Jay County in east central Indiana... Southeastern Wabash County in north central Indiana... Adams County in northeastern Indiana... Southern Huntington County in northeastern Indiana... Wells County in northeastern Indiana... West Central Van Wert County in west central Ohio...

* Until 200 AM EDT.

* At 1050 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion, Bluffton, Decatur, Portland, Hartford City, Gas City, Berne, Upland, Ossian, Fairmount, Dunkirk, Albany, Montpelier, Jonesboro, Redkey, Geneva, Sweetser, Swayzee, La Fontaine and Van Buren. Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1 inch is expected over the area, with some locations receiving higher amounts. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
