Siren Activation - NO EMERGENCY EXISTS.
Activation of the township's emergency siren system this morning was not due to an intentional activation. We've now pinpointed the issue to lightning strikes in the area affecting our recently installed secondary activation method. We will be working with the manufacturer to identify and implement a solution to this issue. In the meantime, the secondary activation method has been deactivated. We apologize for the activation.
