Smoke North West of Truckee is the North Complex Fire near Quincy. No threat to Truckee area. 
The North Complex Fire started about 3 weeks ago from lightning and has burned over 40,000 acres. The fire has blown up today and moving towards the town of La Porte and Little Grass Valley Reservoir. Evacuations are currently underway.
