Air Quality Alert until 03:30PM Tuesday 
The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District is issuing an Air Quality Alert on September 8, 2020, due to smoke impacts from the Creek Fire, SQF Complex, and other wildfires throughout California for the Valley portion of Kern County until further notice. In addition, the Valley portion of Kern County will be impacted this afternoon through tomorrow morning due to blowing dust caused by windy conditions. The Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District has also issued an Air Quality Alert, due to smoke impacts until further notice. This covers Lake Isabella south to Tehachapi and points east to Rosamond, Boron and Ridgecrest.
