The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District is issuing an Air Quality Alert on September 8, 2020, due to smoke impacts from the Creek Fire, SQF Complex, and other wildfires throughout California for San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and the Valley portion of Kern County. This Air Quality Alert for smoke is in effect until the fires are extinguished. In addition, the Valley Air District has issued an Air Quality Alert for San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, and Kings Counties from this morning through tonight due to blowing dust caused by windy conditions.
